I'm going to use this blog to try to keep track of all the different technology tools I am using. I don't know if I will continue to use all the tech tools I try, but at least I can record the pros and cons of my experience. Hopefully this will be beneficial to me and possibly to others.
For instance, in the last 24 hours I have added a twitter account, set up a blog, subscribed to several RSS feeds and will soon begin to appreciate how beneficial (or not) those technologies can be. It should be a fun journey!
Sure has been a whirlwind of web 2.0 tools for me as well. Having a great time figuring some of this stuff out and am continuing to dig for more usefulness both inside and outside the classroom! Great Idea to start a record of what you're learning and the pros and cons of each as the syllabus said you'll need it for the final project!
ReplyDeleteI am trying this again Mona. What a great idea for a blog. I am eager to see what your pros and cons are.
ReplyDeleteWell I managed to survive the weekend class of the "Designing Curriculum with Integrated Technology". Our Exeter, NH cohort has only one more "group" class after this one and we will be done with our official hybrid classes. I have to admit I'm going to miss seeing everyone every other month. We've learned a lot (and survived a lot) LOL. But we will be able to tackle classes like Web 2.0 with a whole new level of comprehension thanks to the many teachers and the group support we've had so far. I think I'm going to try to "link" my blog to my Facebook account just to see how well that works. Here I go.....
